March 2024 Theme: That’s How We’ve Never Done It
In person Meditation at 10:00am, in person and Facebook Live Services begin at 10:30.
If we’re to step into our Grand Rising, we must be willing to embrace a new way of experiencing and expressing ourselves. This month, we’ll look at what Newness feels like, as it inspires our evolution. Week One invites us to seize this day, embracing its unlimited possibilities. Two, we acknowledge our past (good, bad, and ugly) while disentangling ourselves from it. Three, we release our need to “figure it out” and invite Inner Guidance to lead us into new territory. Four, we ground in the Truth of who we are and our Vision of who we are becoming, letting that inform every thought, word, and action. Week Five reminds us this is a journey, not a destination. The work goes on, the practice deepens. We set the intention to stay conscious, live from Love, and continue to embrace infinite possibility.
march 2024 Weekly Themes
March 10th • Up Until Now...
It’s time to acknowledge our past (good, bad, and ugly) while disentangling ourselves from it. It’s time to forgive and release old patterns that no longer serve us. Let’s install and practice a new script: “UP UNTIL NOW…”
It’s time to acknowledge our past (good, bad, and ugly) while disentangling ourselves from it. It’s time to forgive and release old patterns – even those that used to work well – if they no longer serve us. Let’s replace our old “I’ve always…” [“It’s, you’ve, they’ve, we’ve always…”] with a new script. Let’s substitute “UP UNTIL NOW…” – “Up until now, my experience has been [fill in the blank], but NOW I choose [fill in the blank with something better!]” The Buddha taught that attachment (with its complement, resistance) was the root of all suffering. When we honor our past, and learn from it, without attachment or resistance, we move freely into our future.
March 17th • Tell Me Something Good
What happens when we’re confronted by a situation where “figuring it out” just doesn’t work? Sometimes it’s only when all our problem-solving skills fall short that we remember there’s a deeper intelligence within us, offering us our perfect answer. “I don’t know how, but Spirit does!”
As divine-humans, we’re gifted with amazing intellectual tools for rational problem- solving. We’ve become so reliant on, and infatuated with, our intellects – so rightly proud of our ability to “figure things out,” that we can be thrown for a loop when confronted by those situations where “figuring it out” just doesn’t work. We’ve forgotten we can tune in to the deeper intelligence available within us, the intuition that transcends intellectual understanding, and allow it to deliver our divine solution. It’s up to us to release our need to “figure it out” and invite Inner Guidance to lead us into the new territory of our brand new day.
March 24TH • New... Now... What’s Next?
We’re awakening in a new way to the Truth that we’re bigger than we thought we were. We’re stepping into our identity as divine-humans – God’s experience and expression of Itself in/through/as us. Now what are we going to do about it?
We’re awakening, in a new way, to the realization that we’re bigger than we thought we were. Now what are we going to do about it? How do we carry that awareness forward into a larger expression of Good in our own lives, the lives of our spiritual communities, our larger community, and our planet? Grounded in the Truth of who we are and our Vision of who we are becoming, we let that Vision and that Truth inform our every thought, word, and action. Knowing that we are “about our [Creator]’s business” (Luke 2:49), we consciously, lovingly, creatively get to work implementing a world that works for all.
March 31st • Don’t Go Back to Sleep
We’ve awakened to the Truth of our identity as divine-humans, but that doesn’t mean our journey’s over. The work continues, the path leads onward. Don’t go back to sleep!
Even as we learn to more fully embody the Truth of our divine-humanness, we’re reminded this is a journey, not a destination. The ever-further unfolding of Spirit’s perfect pattern for our world requires our conscious, active participation. Even that fabled state of “Happily Ever After” necessitates continued attention and intention. (And have you noticed? We’re not there yet!) The work goes on, the practice deepens. We set the intention to stay conscious, live from Love, and continue to embrace infinite possibility. Don’t go back to sleep!
